My life in blog form. Monday, 6 July 2009. Well what a few weeks it has been but this weekend has been especially amazing. To come round the last corner to find friends and family who had already completed the race or were there to support us was amazing as were those at the finishing line cheering us on. My life in blog form. Tuesday, 25 August 2009. And August wasn't much better. To top it off an acquaintance lost her husband aged 32 - how awful is life today - the dreaded cancer beat us again and to see her suffer like I did makes me feel so helpless. What is worse is that you would think I would know what to say to her, but I didn't - useless aren't I. There will be still be repercussions of the last 18 months that will continue into my new beginning but i have realised that it is truly out of my hands - I cannot be responsible for other people's choices, so all I can say to my sister and her family is that I still love you all and should you ever wish to be part of my life the door will always be open. So here's to a decent 2012 (I am not expecting miracles here!

Saturday, 25 August 2012. Well apart from Christmas this is the last bank holiday of the year! I have seen the Dr again and I am going back to work on Tuesday, 4 hours a day for the first week and then 5 the next then we see how it's going and it will be full steam ahead. I have been to the South Coast with Dennis whilst I have been off and although I have spent most of the day on my own ( he has to work! I went to a couple of National Trust places, mooched round the shops, ate chips! On Thursday I took ...

Saturday, 24 March 2012. Well a week on and life is tough! Jo's Dad died Monday afternoon. Poor Jo and the rest of the family my heart goes out to them all. Tuesday my precious Dad had his first Chemo session. Peter and Gel had to go home late on Wednesday as Gel's Dad Ben is critically ill. What else will be thrown at us? Eye check for me on Thursday and I have early onset of glaucoma so drops for me for the rest of my life probably although surgery may be a future option. Saturday, March 24, 2012.

Had some bad news today my brother is in hospital with a suspected heart attack, he's only 50! I am praying it is a mild one that will give him a kick up the bum to change his life style, us too! Wednesday, 14 July 2010. Well Kahlan Grace arrived yesterday at 6.54pm weighing 8lb 7ozs. She is gorgeous of course. Very much like Finley. I have had cuddles of course. Even given her a bottle. Will post pics when the camera battery is charged! Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Sunday, 11 July 2010. Well the days then the weeks then the months go by . Such a lot has happened since I last posted. We have been on 4 more holidays! I have lost 11 lbs since last September doesn't sound much but it's a big deal for me.
