Nankins Wanderings: The Bra From Hell
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-bra-from-hell.html
Monday, November 19, 2012. The Bra From Hell. If you have read any of my posts, you will probably know that I have this thing. On top of that, I can't breath because part of the minimizing process apparently includes a super tight fit around the mid-drift. God forbid that it should break. I shudder at that thought. What in the @&$ @& were these people thinking? I'm a human being, not a slab of putty to be sliced, kneaded and molded into oddball shapes. What's next? Posted by Nankin at 9:46 AM.

Nankins Wanderings: February 2006
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2006. I’m having a very hard time concentrating today. There are so many things to do and I just can’t seem to get my butt in gear. Must be the Monday blues. I can see why women used to call it Blue Monday when they had to hand wash clothes and hang them up to dry. Nope, no way! And my mind rattles around in its cage as usual. Anyway, here are a few paragraphs for your reading pleasure (? Fortunately, we were only five, so there wasn’t a whole lot of pecking to establish. As soon...

Nankins Wanderings: Reflections
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2013/09/reflections.html
Friday, September 20, 2013. What started out as a love for reading in third grade has turned into a passion. So many times I thought how did this person get published? Or, I could do better than this. Have I written a better book? I think so, but I can only hope that other people will agree. To say I'm excited is a gross understatement. I'm still pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. Posted by Nankin at 11:06 AM. My Life is a Cartoon. Just A Country Girl. I'd rather be sailing. It Occured To Me.

Nankins Wanderings: The Light of Ishram
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-light-of-ishram.html
Friday, November 16, 2012. The Light of Ishram. Although the shock is starting to wear off, the excitement will never go away. After many years of writing, editing, editing, editing, more editing, and the final edit, I've sold a book. That sounds so good to say. Somebody pinch me. My goal was to find a publisher, not self-publish, and I did it. Coming soon to a bookstore near you. Well.in about a year. The Light of Ishram. Posted by Nankin at 10:55 AM. My Life is a Cartoon. Nankins Wanderings: October 2005
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2005. Here’s part of another chapter I’m working on. As always, I welcome, critique, comments, suggestions. As they reached the low rolling foothills, Omron guided the stallion from the road. Tall winter grass crackled loudly under the weight of the two massive horses. Fresh rabbit tracks crossed their path at irregular intervals, promising good hunting. Over there," Carandahl could not keep the excitement from his voice. "Release your bird first, Omron.". The tone of the mage's voi...

Nankins Wanderings: It's all Relative
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2014/11/its-all-relative.html
Tuesday, November 04, 2014. A Study in Contradiction). As I stared into the headlights of the retreating eighteen wheelers, I wondered what it would be this time. Mother has a way of over embellishing. I’m her only son, though she calls me her daughter, and she takes morbid pleasure in getting me agitated. Maybe that’s because she’s really my father and hasn’t figured it out yet. As I approached Mother’s room, the expensive aroma of her cheap perfume wafted down the hall toward me. I have no idea why...

Nankins Wanderings: Oklahoma Writer's Federation Conference 2013
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2013/05/oklahoma-writers-federation-conference.html
Sunday, May 05, 2013. Oklahoma Writer's Federation Conference 2013. I'm quickly learning that signing a contract with a publisher is just the beginning. No longer are there million dollar budgets for promotion unless your name is Janet Evanovich, Stephen King, JK Rowling, James Patterson. Anyway, you get the picture. The majority of presentations I attended in two days were about blogging, tweeting, facebooking (is that a word? Nancy wouldn't want to be confused with this. Posted by Nankin at 6:52 PM.

Nankins Wanderings: September 2005
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Don't make me go back to the office today. I just can't get enthusiastic about that sweat shop any more. I know top management is trying to improve moral, but it hasn't sunk down past the management in our department. The only time they remember your name is when you've done something wrong. If it's right you know who's taking credit for it. Posted by Nankin at 5:20 PM. Friday, September 23, 2005. My word of the day is irrelevant. Views are irrelevant to creating this blog?

Nankins Wanderings: Sequel Writing
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2013/05/sequel-writing.html
Monday, May 06, 2013. When you write a sequel, the question is whether to make it completely independent, or dependent on the first book. I'm facing that dilemma now. I don't want to rehash everything, but there has. To be references to make the story coherent. I do draw the line when it comes to flashbacks. I keep asking myself is it enough, or too much? Will people understand without reading the first novel? Around and around I go. Somebody make it stop! Posted by Nankin at 9:32 AM. My Life is a Cartoon.

Nankins Wanderings: Never Discount A Story Idea
http://nankin47.blogspot.com/2013/10/never-discount-story-idea.html
Monday, October 28, 2013. Never Discount A Story Idea. See this funny little kid? I am currently working on a sequel, The Tower of Babel. Grig Dothrie, Theron Raurk and company are back to battle the evil Cathari Bishop, Bodark. Sonever overlook an idea that might lead to a story-line. Even if nothing comes to mind immediately, file it away for later. If it's right, it'll always be there. Posted by Nankin at 4:51 PM. My Life is a Cartoon. Just A Country Girl. I'd rather be sailing.
