The Macfarlane Dogs!: New year, New Start!
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-year-new-start.html
Tuesday, 12 January 2010. New year, New Start! Well what an ending we had to 2009! And no posts since October! So what have we been up to? The sand school that we train in has a really deep surface, and it is hard work to run on at the best of times. I was exhausted! So I am back on my fitness regime, involving cutting out eating all the junk (very difficult! And taking up running again. My new years resolution is to improve my fitness! Either that or they are just too scared to come and tell me! Our fir...

The Macfarlane Dogs!: September 2009
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 15 September 2009. This weekend we had a local show, so no long travelling! The weather was just beautiful and it was really nice to have a 30 second walk to the ring instead of the hikes we have been getting used to! Still, no matter what our concerns over the height, we wanted Mannix's first show experience to be a positive one, which is why we dropped him down a height, and I think he thoroughly enjoyed himself! We will see what happens. Other news and Paul turned 30 this week! An agility tra...

Friday, 9 October 2009. Today is Smudge's 3rd birthday. I cannot believe how quickly time is going. It seems like only yesterday that he was that tiny puppy! And what a wonderful three years we have had! This dog has given me more than I can possibly say and I am so lucky that he shares my life. Thanks Smudgelet - here's to many more! And I love this picture of Maisie - look at those teeth! And after a hard day's celebrating, he finally crashed! Happy Birthday Smudge XxX. 11 October 2009 at 11:09. Chi (O...

http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 March 2009. Well this was a show of ups and downs! On to better things, and Scooby had a 4th in the Novice Jumping. The rest of the day wasn't so hot for him and Paul (shall we just say they were suffering from pilot error! And as for Smudge, well.the day started well, and his agility round was lovely.until three obstacles from home. He released himself from the contact early! He carried on his winning streak in the Steeplechase jumping where he also got 1st! And a very loud one at that!

The Macfarlane Dogs!: November 2009
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 2 November 2009. Smudge and I have just come back from a great weekend with Nancy, Andy and their dogs. We had such a good time! It was so nice to get away, plus of course seeing friends, and to top it all off a really interesting training day. But we are both now exhausted! The flights were interesting to say the least, and just slightly scary! If you look carefully you can see the pilot at the front. Yes, pilot in the singular.no co pilot! What on earth would happen if he had a heart attack?

The Macfarlane Dogs!: August 2009
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 August 2009. And lots of it! It was sooo hot here yesterday, it reached 27 degrees. Phew! Having seen the forecast we headed out really early to walk the dogs before it got too hot. And we were glad we did, as even at 8.30am it was starting to really heat up. It's an amazing place to visit, and really makes you appreciate our world and what we are doing to it. Neither of them have ever been brave enough, but with a little encouragement (i.e me carrying them out! Friday, 28 August 2009. I guess...

The Macfarlane Dogs!: May 2009
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, 30 May 2009. Today has been so hot! The first really hot day of the year. Far too hot to start mowing the lawn unfortunately so it is still looking like a jungle, but that is top of my list for tomorrow! We actually waited to walk the dogs until the evening as it was cooler. I must admit it is nice having a weekend off! Friday, 29 May 2009. Wow what a fantastic weekend of agility we had weather wise! It was a scorcher! The rest of it was ok, although i'm not keen on my handling in places! I thi...

The Macfarlane Dogs!: April 2009
http://macfarlanedogs.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 30 April 2009. Just because I like these. And my favourite of all. Monday, 13 April 2009. Spring is really here at last! Well, what a boring, though productive, bank holiday weekend we have had! We spent nearly all our time spring cleaning the house, and sorting out things that haven't seen the light of day for years! The downside of so much cleaning is that our hoover burst into flames. Quite literally! I also took the opportunity to give all the dogs a really good groom. Maisie has had a ...
