Travels with Aimer: Bare your soul
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2015/06/bare-your-soul.html
Monday, June 22, 2015. So there's this guy I know; used to know him quite well - we spent a lot of time hanging out back in the day. He's probably reading this blog right now going - 'yeah, she's talking about me on her blog! Bit of an egotistical fellow. Anyway, back in the day, he would greet me with a hearty, 'How is your soul? And actually mean it. Like, really, how is your soul. How's the spiritual stuff? How are you and God? And then, kids. Kids makes going to church just a chore. Like, an ...Churc...

Travels with Aimer: September 2014
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. One of the most difficult parts of my day is feeding my two year old breakfast. He just doesn't like anything. Sometimes he'll eat toast, sometimes he'll eat some egg, sometimes he'll eat a pre-packaged cereal bar. But a lot of the time, he settles on hotdog. Or a bottle of milk. Or, nothing at all. He's on a bit of a cookie kick right now. He cried for about two hours for a cookie the other morning, and would not touch anything else. Amy's Breakfast Muffin Tops. It was abou...

Travels with Aimer: November 2012
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 9, 2012. But I do appreciate the gifts! A little overwhelmed by the shear number of them to be honest. If you've ever wanted to open a lot of presents, just get married and then have a baby! People are quite generous. So, here is my public THANK YOU! For all of the wonderful, thoughtful, and loving baby things we have received over the past 6 months. 8211; Novel “Wiped” crib sheets; sleep sac; crocheted blanket; sweater and booties; car seat. Marg, Stacey, Maddie and Christine. 8211; 5 w...

Travels with Aimer: May 2015
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Sometimes I forget I have a blog. And then someone reminds me. Sometimes I think I should write something. But then I remember. I HAVE NO TIME TO BLOG! Sometimes I think I should take my blog down. But there's so much here, so much writing and thinking. It's sort of part of me,. Or at least a written testimony of the things I've done. Taking it down would be sort of like throwing all of that away. I don't think I'm ready to do that yet. Or should it be left there as a memory?

Travels with Aimer: Baby pics
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2015/06/baby-pics.html
Saturday, June 6, 2015. So, the Royal Palace released some pics today of Prince George and his little sister. They're cute and all. but not as cute as MY kids - obviously. But why is it so shocking that Kate took the pics herself? Royalty or not, clicking a button on a camera isn't exactly rocket science. I, too, like to think that I take a good photo once in awhile; no one writes about that. Also Are they trying to keep poor little Prince George as *stuffy* as possible? Dave and I got married.

Travels with Aimer: July 2013
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Today was my first day back to work. I've been fielding a lot of questions lately that go something like this: "aren't you going to miss that cute little boy of yours? The polite answer of course, the MOM answer, is "of course I'm going to miss him, but he's going to somewhere familiar, so it won't be so bad". The real answer, the one I keep to myself because it makes me sound like a terrible parent, is "are you freaking kidding me? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some blogs I read.

Travels with Aimer: July 2014

Tuesday, July 22, 2014. We play a game in our home. It's called: 'How many times can you put the same cheerios back in the bowl'. It's a lot like '52 card pickup', if you've ever had the pleasure of playing that. We have a toddler; we basically have food on the floor ALL THE TIME! Our house is clean. I totally swept the floor yesterday. I think. And I know it was done last week too. .or was that the week before? The sand that got tracked in from outside? That's nature's seasoning. No biggie.

Travels with Aimer: August 2012
http://travelswithaimer.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Things my husband does. My husband, whom I love immensely (but maybe don't show it as often as I should), is guilty of doing the following:. BBQing like a pro-star. Pacing the floors with a cranky baby at 2am even though he has to work early. Maintaining my car: even the little things like topping up the tires with air, which I could do myself, but it's so much better when he does it for me. Making the bed. Probably more often than I do it. Being awesome in general. You will n...
