Friday, July 3, 2015. This was the first year we were able to go home any time, wince it wasn't centered around a wedding or other life event. I picked time surrounding the fourth of July because its my favorite Midwest holiday (other than a snowy Christmas) and I feel like the way my hometown celebrates the Fourth is quintessential Midwest Summer. Bryan and I met our nephews for the first time. Uncle Bryan with Max. Then we headed to the pool:. Grey was freezing cold, but refused to leave the pool.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. We spent Sunday Morning at the Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park. The kids were exhausted so we didn't get to stay too long, but it was still fun and beautiful. We spent the rest of the day relaxing before nana left for Ohio in the evening. It was a wonderful busy weekend that ended on a lovely note. Saturday, June 27, 2015.
