William Frederick Kann and Bessie Beatrice Poos were married September 11, 1911 in Carlyle (Clinton Co.), Illinois. They were the parents of six children. Bessie was the daughter of George E. Poos and Jennie Frazier of Trenton. George's parents, George Henry Christian Poos and Wilhelmina Mirehoff, immigrated from Germany. Other researchers have traced the Poos line back to their roots in Germany then to Indiana and on to Illinois.
