Thursday, May 19, 2016. We overcame a case of strep throat (Nathan), complications from a routine medical procedure (Gene) and a first-ever bout of vertigo (Karen) in the days leading up to our trip and then a fever-and-stomach bug (Caitlyn) on our first day in Orlando. After that, it was smooth sailing – in 90 degree heat and bright sunshine every day! Nathan demanding to play in the grass at Mickey’s Backyard Barbeque (thanks to a very literal interpretation of the event’s name). Whats keeping us busy.

Friday, September 30, 2016. Our kiddos, crushin' it. Sometimes we’re so proud of these kiddos that it feels like we could burst. This month Caitlyn earned her orange belt – after six months of twice-a-week karate lessons and a 90-minute rank test with two black belts. Then the next day she took off and rode her bike without training wheels for the first time. Meanwhile, Nathan is identifying words he can read during bedtime stories. And this t-ball season, he. After about two hours of active labor at the hospital, Grayson didn't want to waste anytime getting here. After only ten minutes of pushing he came out (peeing on the doctor and Dada! And joined us.
