At Home in San Antonio: Keeping Up
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2010/02/keeping-up.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Sometimes my dear wife and I feel like we are struggling just to keep up with all of the various activities the kids are involved in. Add in a few parties and special events and sometimes we really feel like we are just leaves being tossed about in the wind. While each individual child doesn't have that many activities, when you add them all together it fills the calendar pretty quickly. Looks like it will be a busy weekend-let's hope I can keep up. At Home in San Antonio: August 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Why do I mention this here? Because DS#1 is now at an age where he understands more what his parents do for him and actually appreciates it. Now, he is never overly emotional in one direction or the other, but he clearly appreciated the new cleats, understands their cost, and the effort to get them. This recognition and appreciation shows that he is growing in more ways than just physically. In any case, I really enjoyed it. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Apparently the other team sp...

At Home in San Antonio: Very Busy Day
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2013/06/very-busy-day.html
Thursday, June 13, 2013. Well, today we had a very busy day and I took a LOT of pictures but will only post a few. We got up early because we had to get the door lock fixed before heading out. We had a nice breakfast and then headed out to Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abby, Churchill's War Room, and Buckingham Palace before heading the Museum of Natural Science. At Home in San Antonio: Tower of London
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2013/06/tower-of-london.html
Wednesday, June 12, 2013. We had a Yeoman tour, and Steve was fantastic. It was entertaining, even when it began to rain he had jokes and historical details to add. Anthony and I had a great time going through the Tower of London and learned a lot about history that isn't in the books. After the tour we went through a lot of the additional towers and areas, including the White Tower where we had another tour. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). At Home in San Antonio. At Home in San Antonio: November 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. Wednesday we went to Houston to spend time with family. We got there on time for the kids to play with my niece E before she went with her father for the holiday weekend. The cousins all get along so well that it is fun to watch (though a bit noisy sometimes). DS#3 LOVES the constant attention and the fact that he can pretty much eat anything he wants. I will try to have a "mostly pictures" post sometime tomorrow to make up for all of the boring text (sorry CB! My dear wife too...

At Home in San Antonio: October 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Well, it looks like I completely missed posting about this past weekend. I suppose I'll just have to depend on my dear wife's blog. Much of the time he just stared at everything as we rode past. He clearly loved it though, so I guess we'll just have to keep going back once in a while. I took a few photos and some video but there wasn't really anything that really stood out. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Anyway, DD played at goalkeeper again for about a quarter of the game. S...

At Home in San Antonio: December 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. One year closes . Monday afternoon/evening we played Apples to Apples, a game that DS#2 received for Christmas. We all had a great time playing, but I had to "bail out" near the end in order to start grilling steaks. My dear wife took over and suddenly we won. Hmmm. Tuesday closed with several slow-motion sword battles, as well as some "real speed" play involving foam swords, silly boys, and goofy girls. Of course, the girls came complete with manicured nails. This is one of ...

At Home in San Antonio: June 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 25, 2009. Another Week Roars By. Well, I thought I'd post sooner but I guess this has been a busy week. Last weekend we did get out for breakfast and then a wonderful dinner to celebrate our Anniversary on Saturday (17 years! And on Sunday I decided I just wanted a quiet, peaceful time with the family. Yesterday was our last day at Gymboree play for DS#3. He has loved it there, but really doesn't participate in the activities anymore and it is going to be difficult to go during the sum...

At Home in San Antonio: Wedding Time!
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2010/08/wedding-time.html
Friday, August 13, 2010. This past week has been a week of, well, parties. The first party was a beautiful wedding that we simply could not miss. Of course, with Filipino weddings this pretty much means a series of parties for several days in a row. The next "party" was Natalie's birthday, but I'll save that for another post. Eric made it up the aisle like a champ. Helped, no doubt, by the very precocious and outgoing flower girl that LOVED the attention! Eventually he warmed up and went on the dance flo...

At Home in San Antonio: July 2009
http://athomeinsanantone.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. I just wanted to put up a couple of quick pictures today. This first one shows DS#2 and I wrestling in order to get a picture. My lovely wife has already commented on this picture extensively over here. I like it because it shows how difficult it can be to get DS#2 to let us take a picture. As a joke I grabbed him for a picture and we are both actually laughing pretty hard here. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Kids this age do need to touch and hold things, that is just the way they lear...
