Friday, December 07, 2007 posted by Mike. The definition of "wise planning" very well may be the fact that I put in to take a personal day on the day after last night's awesome Shopping with Chefs. Event in NYC. I'm still recovering from the festivities (which included a few drinks after the event, as well), which is not surprising since I didn't get home until after 2 am on a day that included me getting up at my usual time (5:50 am, in case you're wondering) and working a half a day down in Philly.

Adam Gertler Goes "On The DL". Monday, January 19, 2009 posted by Mike. It's been documented on this site that, while I do love me some food, there are a couple of other hobbies/interests that surpass it. The BIG one is sports. While I'm still smarting from the loss of my Eagles in the NFC championshiop yesterday, at least I can console myself with the memory that my Phillies are World F ing Champions. And I got to stand at Broad and South for the first parade in 25 years. You can catch the episode.

Chokecherry Pancakes: What's in a name? Why Chokecherry Pancakes?
http://chokecherrypancakes.blogspot.com/2008/05/whats-in-name-why-chokecherry-pancakes.html
My dégustation chronicles of all things food and wine. What's in a name? But maybe that is why I am such a slap dash cook . although I usually substitute garlic and chillies for vodka! In fact, it still is! My Grandma and Grandpa J also had an amazing garden. One of their favorite soul nourishing activities was shelling peas! Today I write Chokecherry Pancakes from Australia, where I have lived for almost ten years. JennDZ - The Leftover Queen. June 12, 2008 at 1:32 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
