Tomato Zucchini Soup | Joy the Baker
http://joythebaker.com/2012/08/tomato-zucchini-soup
August 12, 2012. Soup in August. I know this is weird. Soup is my de-stresser. Ok… to be fair pancakes (especially the chocolate chip variety. Are also my de-stresser. I find cheeseburgers to be a wonderful distraction. Peanut Butter Cookies. Rock my de-stressed world. But… focus, Joy! Soup is my de-stresser. It’s the chopping and stirring, chopping and stirring. Naturally, there’s also a mega-ton of fresh zucchini in this soup as well. The zucchini is raw and easy diced, and paired with soup s...It̵...

Maddie Mooves: Book list
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2016/05/book-list.html
Wednesday, 18 May 2016. I've finally finished my last essay. I haven't quite done all my final practical tests and still have 5 more babies to catch but the horizon of this whole degree is so close I can smell it! Now that I don't have to spend my home time time going over essays I can begin to relax back into life and get back to my pre-uni hobbies. I have joined a netball team to meet a few new friends and get back into social sport. I'm really loving it! In Fulham, and of course, the famous Daunt Books.

Maddie Mooves: How moving to Europe changed me
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2016/07/how-moving-to-europe-changed-me.html
Sunday, 24 July 2016. How moving to Europe changed me. Moving to London a few years ago was the best thing I've ever done and not only because of all the wonderful things I experienced whilst I was over there but because of the ways it shaped me. I feel like I changed a lot whilst I was over there; not in an extensive way, but small ways which I'm now really grateful for. On that same thread, I also really push myself to go to new. Lets not get ahead of ourselves! But for a well earned holiday after what...

Maddie Mooves: Moove Number 3
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2016/07/moove-number-3.html
Monday, 11 July 2016. I'm really living up to my name and have, indeed, mooved. This time I have made the big decision to move in with the boyfriend. After 3 and a half years, 18 months of that long distance, we are finally in the same town and under the same roof! And the grass smells so much sweeter . because I mowed it myself (Sean watching on with beer in hand! I have now completed this giant list:. 288 hours antenatal care. 512 hours labour and birthing. 320 hours post natal care. I saved a few news...

Maddie Mooves: The great Nundle dog race
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-great-nundle-dog-race.html
Saturday, 28 May 2016. The great Nundle dog race. Every year, on the first Sunday in May, the little town of Nundle hosts their "Great Nundle Dog Race". It started in 1979 and has run every year since. And we were pretty excited that since I've been looking after my parent's dog Harry, that we had someone to take along this year to compete! He can get a little annoyed when bigger taller dogs take over (my sister's whippet in particular! We were sure Harry wouldn't beat out the sheep dogs in the sprint so...

Maddie Mooves: Weekend Activities
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2014/06/weekend-activities.html
Friday, 27 June 2014. I had quite a busy weekend! The Summer Season has truly kicked off and to a flying start! But just wait for next weekends post! Firstly, on Saturday I went to the famous Royal Ascot. I managed to get a ticket to the Royal Enclosure through the Australian Embassy (best way to get them by the way, for my fellow Aussies next year) and headed out on the Saturday with a big group. Ok moving on to Sunday! We met our lovely friend GG and wandered through the maze of tents and stalls. But t...

Maddie Mooves: Biggest Morning Tea
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/2016/06/biggest-morning-tea.html
Thursday, 9 June 2016. At the end of May I hosted a Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea. I had been wanting to do one of these for a few years and this year got prompted when I saw the reminder in the Sunday paper. I immediately signed up online and later in the week a parcel arrived with a poster, invitations, bunting, money box and recipes! I didn't realise how much the Cancer Council helped you out! Over the past few years since I've grown up and left school, cancer has touched my family and friends mo...

Maddie Mooves: About
http://maddiemooves.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
I'm a twenty-something Aussie who started a blog to record her travels and adventures. I lived and worked in London for over a year and have now come home to begin my midwifery training in the rural NSW town of Tamworth. Sydney to London to Tamworth are big jumps, but change is a good thing and I'm so excited for what's around the next bend! I'm a big believer in saying 'Yes' to all opportunities and to following your personal goals. All my London and European adventures are up on the archive. Catch a fi...
