Geoff Allan Collage Artist

Monday, 22 September 2014. Although I've spent an increasing amount of time this year on my bothy project http:/ bothiesonabike.wordpress.com/. I have found time to complete the series of seascapes which I started in February. The pictures are particularly satisfying because they are all composed of photos from my own burgeoning archive. I've also shuffled all my landscape work into a new website which in due course will be linked on my home page. Always too much to do! Rain in the Offing. A Fine Day Out.

Thursday, 29 August 2013. Over the last 18 months I've been accumulating photos for my own Scottish landscape archive and started a tour of the bothies dotted around Scotland. This is an ongoing project and has been written up in blog. The new work that I have posted this year is a initial exploration of this material and hopefully over the next year or so I'll be creating some more. That's the idea anyway. Bothies on a bike A slow, meandering attempt to complete a round of all the MBA bothies in Scotland.

Geoff's Belize Odyssey: Final post

http://belizeodyssey.blogspot.com/2009/04/final-post.html

Friday, 24 April 2009. Dawn view from my dorm. A moment of contemplation. The final dawn on the reef. Finally tiding this blog up before linking it to my website. I had an amazing time over the three months and am plotting to go back out at some point to try and sell my more commercial pictures as prints and postcards.who knows. What I'm pretty certain of is that I have accumulated enough material to have at least a couple of different exhibitions back in the. UK in the next few months.

Tawny's Blog : ). Monday, November 30, 2009. Slowly but shirley : ). So i finished putting the tabs and grids on them (all 26 of them) : 0. Now I just have to put the streets and stuff and make an index (although i'm still debating whether or not to even include an index). Developing brownie 620 pan film. There is no notches on the side of the film to get it into the spool, so i tried just guiding it in and it overlapped in so many places there wasn't really a single image that came out right. grrrr.

Passion Changes Everything – Passion in the realm of student learning and life in general.

Passion in the realm of student learning and life in general. February 18, 2014. The End of School? But I am just beginning…. As I prepare to go back into the school system (after 20 years out of it), hoping to be more than a teacher, but a better facilitator of learning… I bought another book called The End of School by Geoff Maslen. 8230;which has a ring of irony to it. And I liked the way Geoff wrote about progressive education. I then located his Blog – The Education Reformer. So, here I am armed wit...
