Lizz Huerta, Mind Of. The mind of a poet, storyteller, the music she loves, tales she tells, the places she goes, sometimes more, often less. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Notes on this last travel. People asked me why Istanbul and I had to answer truthfully: vampires. I was obsessed with vampires as a teenager, all the Anne Rice books, Dracula, etc. I read Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian. There was another perfect moment but it was so perfect it seems blasphemous to share. May 14, 2015 at 9:49 AM.

Lizz Huerta, Mind Of. The mind of a poet, storyteller, the music she loves, tales she tells, the places she goes, sometimes more, often less. Monday, September 30, 2013. I'm not really writing too much these days (in another submission frenzy) but I'm digging deep. Thursday, September 19, 2013. Hello house, you're a lovely shade of yellow.

Lizz Huerta, Mind Of. The mind of a poet, storyteller, the music she loves, tales she tells, the places she goes, sometimes more, often less. Sunday, November 3, 2013. Voice as a knife. She has such good intentions, pobrecita. I'm borrowing from the emotional landscape I was in at her age, lost, wanting to create something beautiful but lacking the confidence to do so. To find something to clean to so I took apart the stove. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). San Diego, California, United States. So Say We All.
