Friday, September 30, 2005. Zoom, zoom, zoom! Tomorrow morning I will be racing my car in an official race. Can you believe that? Anyway.I'm so excited! I have to wear a helmet and everything. That was when we saw all of the really bad black smoke coming out of the top of the house. We tried to help the neighbors keep their houses wet, but by that time there wasn't much we could do except wait for the firemen to get there. Unfortunately, they didn't show up until about 20 minutes after we showed up. Fortunately, it was all gone when I woke up Monday morning.

Friday, May 20, 2005. The car is on the horizon. I'm 23 1/2 years old and I'm finally getting my own car. No more being carted all over the city. No more depending on friends to drive on road trips or to take me to the grocery store. I'm sure you all, and by all I mean Sarah, are very happy about that. Thursday, January 12, 2006. Well, it's been almost 2 months since I last wrote, so I thought I'd try to dust off my computer keys. I will be leaving for Calgary again on Sunday for my job. I get to stay for two whopping weeks. Maybe I can convince someone to go skiing with me over the weekend. How cool would that be? I guess that's about it. Monday, November 14, 2005. I just so happened to be on this trip over my birthday weekend. I drove over to Banff with the girl I'm working with and went up to the top of the mountain for lunch. How cool is that? To go have lunch on the top of a mountain when it is snowing.wow! Then we drove down to the city of Banff, which is in the middle of a national park, and went shopping.
