It's easy to buy an app from the Apple App store isn't it, go into the app store, find the app you want, click on the price and enter your password. Voila. Couldn't be easier. Could it? Well, as you can probably guess, I'm going to disagree. My Actual requirements were. Can Sync with Google Reader. Can Handle hundreds of Feeds. Can cope with many posts.

A place where I can post random thoughts which don't fit into 140 characters. Saturday, April 6, 2013. Amazon Customer Service - The Good, the Bad and the Kindle. Please find below my account of my interactions with Amazon's customer service desk, Unfortunately I don't have a photographic memory, so all 'Quotes' are paraphrased. The screen showed text on 2/3rds of the text, but the other 1/3 was lines and lines and lines. (Thanks Tubbs). I was already expecting both of these to be true. After hearing...
Geoff's Random Thoughts: Omnifocus 2 and why I'm disappointed
http://geoffsrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2013/02/omnifocus-2-and-why-im-disappointed.html
A place where I can post random thoughts which don't fit into 140 characters. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Omnifocus 2 and why I'm disappointed. Before I start, there are some things I want to make clear. I've not played with Omnifocus 2. So this post is based on reviews of the launch even and blog posts from others. Most of the posts I've read are consistent in what they say so I've based my thoughts around confirmed changes. I respect Omni as a company. I use Omnifocus all of the time. Review and Foreca...

http://geoffsrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A place where I can post random thoughts which don't fit into 140 characters. Sunday, December 26, 2010. The world isn't round, it's become google shaped. All of my life I've loved maps, I remember drawing a map of Carr Clough (where I used to live) at Junior school, A - Zs which my Dad had, OS maps in Cubs and Scouts, route planners, road maps, all brilliant, all with different views of the world. The world belongs to geeks, but only how google want you to see it. Links to this post. How to handle makin...
Geoff's Random Thoughts: iPhone 5 screen thoughts.
http://geoffsrandomthoughts.blogspot.com/2011/09/iphone-5-screen-thoughts.html
A place where I can post random thoughts which don't fit into 140 characters. Monday, September 26, 2011. IPhone 5 screen thoughts. The rumour is that the iPhone 5 will have a 4" Retina Display, why would Apple make the display larger? Assuming that the number of pixels on the larger display stays the same as the iPhone 4 (good for developers), this means that pixels per inch would reduce and that the display would be 'poorer' and should be cheaper to make. Geoff's Puddings & Stuff - Geoff's Puddings
Geoff's Puddings and Stuff. This is my little world for sharing my passion for food. Enjoy my creations! Your chutney was delicious. Beautiful flavour with a decent "kick" to it. I even added it to my stew with great results. Thanks Geoff. Geoff, your Xmas pudding was very delicious. We loved it and can't wait to have it for this Xmas. With a doubt the best puddings I have had! My favourite is the puddings with plain vanilla custard. 2 thumbs up from me! The White Choc Delights are to die for!

Geoff's Random Thoughts
A place where I can post random thoughts which don't fit into 140 characters. Friday, April 26, 2013. Sand boxing and background apps on IOS. I use lots of Apple products, and I use lots of apps on those Apple products. Several of those apps require syncing or regular downloads to be useful, such as:. I also use a Wi-Fi only IPad. Even worse, I'm offline and the note I want isn't available to me when I need it. This would remove a real headache from IOS use for me. Links to this post. There have been var...
