Carrots: The Geography Behind Growing Carrots

http://geographyofcarrots.blogspot.com/2009/05/geography-behind-growing-carrots.html

Thursday, May 14, 2009. The Geography Behind Growing Carrots. Carrots generally prefer soils that are light and sandy. So if soil is on the light thin side there should be no problem. However if soil has clay and rocks in it then the carrot growth will struggle. Carrots are not that hard to grow though. The round and stumpy rooted varieties will grow practically anywhere in comparison to some other varieties such as ones with long root which require the light sandy soil. Archery

Friday, April 16, 2010. The Mongols were famed for their horse-archery, much like the Scythians. The Geography of Conflict

THE GEOGRAPHY OF CONFLICT. THE BEGINNING OF A NEW WORLD ORDER. The most interesting aspect of the story was Powell’s reaction to this historic incident. A new chapter in world affairs was beginning. THE GEOGRAPHY OF CONFLICT. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). For people seekin...
