On the Prowl: April 2011
http://georambling.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find TupperWare hidden in the woods. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Not Quite Easter Eggs. I live in a tiny village, but even here there are four caches available for those who want to look for them. I’ve found a couple of them before, and even another that no longer exists. Easter Sunday was a really nice day to go for a walk, so I took my hubby and headed out. The first one we looked for ( GC26GHY. The other cache ( GC1NWQ6. Links to this post.

I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find TupperWare hidden in the woods. Thursday, August 5, 2010. A Few Weeks Back. We had a lovely day out with my son and his family at a beach where we have not been for many years. On the way home, we stopped to find a new cache hidden at the Rideau Ferry Yacht Club. I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find TupperWare hidden in the woods. Thursday, September 24, 2009. In Search of Giants. Immediately my grandson asked, "Where’s that blue thing? My GPS). I want the blue thing." After he got his hands on that, he led the way. He even told us we were going the wrong way, and though we didn't have the new waypoints, it turned out he was right about that. Get off of my bridge! Poor grandpa immediately did as he was told. I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find TupperWare hidden in the woods. Monday, May 17, 2010. What a wonderful weekend to go exploring. Our first stop of the day was at the old Van Camp cemetery. GC21KYT. This is when we made a little side trip and had a short visit with the lady mentioned above. An. We made our way from there to another cemetery, also in Mountain Township, but this one at Mulloy Road. GC21KYW. This cemetery, unlike the previous one, is still in use. This cache was a micro...

I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find TupperWare hidden in the woods. Sunday, August 2, 2009. A Short Visit to the Stony Swamp. We had to make a run into Ottawa to get a replacement computer for my oldest son. The Trailing Edge. Is not far from the Stony Swamp Conservation Area. So I looked up some caches to hit while in the area. Links to this post. Stony Swamp Conservation Area. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Follow me on Twitter. I use multi-billion dollar military satelights to look for Tupperware in the woods. Follow me on my geocaching adventures. Thursday, May 12, 2011. Meeting on the Street. The other day there was a woman and a small group of girls of assorted ages coming down my street. This got my attention as I didn't know any of them and they kept stopping and doing something. Little girls were running up onto doorsteps, but didn't seem to be knocking on doors, so that also seemed curious. Links to this post. It was a l...

Rideau Reflections: This should not be an embarrassment
http://rideaureflections.blogspot.com/2008/05/this-should-not-be-embarrassment.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2008. This should not be an embarrassment. Sadly, it is. The kiddies and I have recently taken up geocaching. As another hobby. If you haven't heard of it, basically you use a hand-held GPS unit to find "treasure" hidden just about everywhere. It's a great hobby that gets you out hiking and finding places you never knew existed. As you might have guessed there is also one at the old CN bridge in Smiths Falls. From the cache description:. This is a grand place to throw beer bottles.

http://postcardsforsatori.blogspot.com/2010/04/satori-sitting-tall.html
473 Card / Letters. Sunday, April 11, 2010. Satori has been home from the hospital two days now and today she went out in the back yard with her dogs for a little bit. I can not believe HOW TALL SHE IS! I think she is almost 4 inches taller than before the surgery. She is doing very well, still on loads of pain meds and Valium for muscle spasms, but getting better every day! Thanks so much to all of you who participated, it has really made her feel special :). April 11, 2010 at 12:31 PM. Satori should fe...
