Bere's Blogspot: How time flies
http://daflee.blogspot.com/2016/01/how-time-flies.html
Thursday, January 7, 2016. This should be a post filled with joy and it is if I look back on the memories that keep flooding back, but and its a "BIG BUT". Its been 12 long months to the day since we returned from our magical holiday around Australia. But (and I shouldn't start a paragraph with but) but I'd love to be on the road again doing it all over again with my "bestie". Is it wrong to wish for retirement. Dave n Leonie Bere. Bere's Blogspot: Christmas Time
http://daflee.blogspot.com/2016/01/christmas-time.html
Saturday, January 2, 2016. For our family Christmas is a time of excitement and joy. It starts with Leonie and Sam who are like kids in a candy shop with the joy and exuberance they display about the presents under the tree. My parents joined us from Lennox Head to share in the festivities which were great as it’d been a few years since they’d been with us at Christmas. With Mum and Dad hanging around after Christmas we got a chance to share Dad’s 73. At this time of year when we celebrate with family it...

Bere's Blogspot: December 2014

Sunday, December 28, 2014. Week 25 - Purposeful Meandering around Oz. Kilometres 29163 – 29789 km. Christmas time this year has felt a little surreal to us, being on the road away from family and friends and with limited media influencing our lives, the hype of the festive season has been lost in the bigger picture of travelling, so reaching Renmark has meant a lot to us. We’ve decorated the van in lights, put up the Christmas tree and its really starting to feel like Christmas. Orange World - Mildura.

Wednesday, March 16, 2016. A Weekend in the Blue Mountains. As a bit of a family getaway we booked a weekend away in the Blue Mountains late last year. It was so long ago that Leonie and I had almost forgotten all about it. Nonetheless we soon were planned our weekend and what we wanted to see and do. I was keen for some family bushwalks while the kids wanted to check out the IMAX cinema. Dave n Leonie Bere. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Geocaching Blog - The Rats. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Fast facts, figures and funnies from our trip. We lived a nomadic lifestyle for 184 days. We spent every night in the van except 1 when we decided to stay in a cabin and it was the worst night of our trip. We visited every mainland state and territory in Australia. We did 31468 kms. We setup the caravan 70 times. We used 4340 litres of diesel at an average of 13.7 ltr/100km. We nearly had 2 head-on collisions because of overseas tourists driving on the wrong side of the road.
