http://datrollcave.blogspot.com/2007/05/finished-trollblood-axer-photos.html
Blogging my miniatures wargaming progress in Hordes and Warmachine. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Finished Trollblood Axer Photos. Here's my finished Axer. But as usual I've found several problems with him after examining the big photos. There's several places where the blending just isn't smooth enough. I've also decided that I don't really like how the axe came out. The good thing about this whole process though is that I feel it will really help me to shade and highlight better and more naturally. Da Troll Cave: Champions starting point...
http://datrollcave.blogspot.com/2009/03/champions-starting-point.html
Blogging my miniatures wargaming progress in Hordes and Warmachine. Monday, March 30, 2009. So, as promised here is the starting point of the two champions I'll be working on. As you can see, the skin isn't that great, but it should be good for tabletop quality. Also, I'm planning on doing the armor with metallics since I don't want to attempt NMM at this point, especially not for the entire unit. PS Changed the blog format template to a new one. How does it look? Posted by Da Troll. Nicolai C. Hansen.

Blogging my miniatures wargaming progress in Hordes and Warmachine. Sunday, June 3, 2007. Grim Angus Gets Some Color. I'm also going to get someNMM bronze/copper going on his gun and shoulderpads. Hopefully with a finished paintjob he'll start doing better in games. :). Oh, by the way, I tried to make his scope have the reddish-orange reflection found in a lot of sniper scopes these days. Da Troll Cave: Painting the Mauler...begin!
http://datrollcave.blogspot.com/2007/02/painting-maulerbegin.html
Blogging my miniatures wargaming progress in Hordes and Warmachine. Monday, February 26, 2007. Painting the Mauler.begin! On with the painting. I've never painted blue skin before ( starting to see a trend here on this blog? I started with the hand and arm since those seem to have the most defined ridges and I figured it might help me with what I need to highlight and what needs to be shaded (I'm also terrible at lighting.guess it's why I didn't go to art school and instead became an engineer). Having ta...

Da Troll Cave: Did some painting and priming today
http://datrollcave.blogspot.com/2009/05/did-some-painting-and-priming-today.html
Blogging my miniatures wargaming progress in Hordes and Warmachine. Monday, May 18, 2009. Did some painting and priming today. And last but not least, the Mauler Extreme.oh yea! I also did some more painting on my champions. I've just got one guy left to do now, and some final details on the others. The last guy should be fast though since he has very little skin and is mostly just armor. It's about 105F right now.so I think I'm going to like down in a corner of my tile floor and try not to melt.
