Vedran & Emily: December 2008
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 24 December 2008. It's not all football when it's cold. I scrolled down the blog earlier and realised there are 4 separate posts on football. One may think it's all we (Vedran) does over - other than doing work - when it gets to winter, and you'd be almost right ;-) ha ha. And I did get out of the tracksuit to go to the project Christmas party! We had a traditional English Christmas dinner including turkey, " pigs in blankets. Brussell sprouts and pudding. Vedran & Emily: July 2008
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 July 2008. My parents were over for the weekend, on their "world tour" that saw them go to San Francisco, New York and London so far. So, we did what all good tourists do, and did some sightseeing. But first, a hearty breakfast at the apparently famous Hummingbird bakery in Notting Hill. Outside the town hall with "The Gherkin" in the background. Then off to Tower Bridge. Walking through Hyde Park. Watching a boat go through the Camden Lock. Off to Sarajevo next! Vedran & Emily: June 2008
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 June 2008. Pearl Jam @ Madison Square Garden (New York). I don't have to explain how excited I was to be at this concert :). It just happened that I had a last minute work trip to New York at the same time our friend Jubba was there following them on the tour he had a spare ticket - I was tired from an 8 hour flight on 4 hours sleep and working in New York that day - but all that didn't matter once they opened with "Release". From KISS and C. J. Ramone. Here are a couple of other songs. Two co...

Vedran & Emily: Bosnia
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2009/02/bosnia.html
Wednesday, 4 February 2009. With less than a month left of our European adventure, I thought it would be good to go back to Bosnia and visit family.and of course, eat way too much and drink too much coffee! The first day I got there, I drove down to our holiday house in Croatia with my uncle and cousin to check out the works that have been completed on the house. For anyone who has been there in the past, these pictures will come as a shock - its changed quite a bit. I spent close to 10 days in Sarajevo.

Vedran & Emily: From 'limping through the winter' London to bustling Buenos Aires
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2009/02/from-limping-through-winter-london-to.html
Wednesday, 25 February 2009. From 'limping through the winter' London to bustling Buenos Aires. So, we left London last week after some goodbye drinks or a few, having shipped our lives back to Australia and departed our little flat (sniff sniff). On Saturday with proper backpacks in tow we crossed the equator and the meridian twice (via Madrid) to get to South America, where the first stop is Buenos Aires and a five day stay in the leafy and well-to-do suburb of Palermo. With my friend, Claire.

Saturday, 28 February 2009. North Argentina, Salta, Cama Suite! We are on the internet now at 6am on a Saturday morning, not - as you might think - because we are internet junkies in need of a fix (very plausible of course) but because they don´t run on daylight savings up where we are now in Salta. And we´d keenly got up at 6.30am (5.30am) for a day trip and and were waiting patiently by the window until a kind soul broke the news to us! Complete with adult-sized high-chair style tray table. Unfortunate...

Tuesday, 29 April 2008. Exploring London with family visitors! The Sunday before last (yes, I was a bit lazy(not busy! To update) my aunty Elizabeth, uncle Peter and cousin Mitchell came to visit me at home and we spent the day exploring the sights of London and moaning about the cold; it's late April now, it must be done! The family had spent a month in Continental Europe where it was sometimes much warmer. I wasn't a bit jealous about 32 in Cyprus :-. Many more photos are on Picasa. The Hives @ Brixton...

Vedran & Emily: Last weekend in London
http://vedran-and-emily.blogspot.com/2009/02/last-weekend-in-london.html
Tuesday, 17 February 2009. Last weekend in London. So, after two years, our time in London has come to an end. For our last weekend, we were joined by Johno who came down from Newcastle and Craig, who came from Oslo. In contrast to most of the time spent in the UK, we didn't try to cram as much as possible into this last weekend and instead had a lazy stroll around Richmond (on Thames). Went to a very English pub and had some local food, walked around London. Off to South America next! Craig - life upover.
