George Rodrigue enjoyed print-making since his early days as an artist. Years ago, his original Cajun works were reproduced as lithographs for events and festivals. History of the Aioli Dinner. About the Supper Club. At each Aioli Dinner fundraiser, we plan to re-create and pay tribute to George Rodrigue’s famous painting by photographing the event. Guests are encouraged to wear black and white (no formal attire) in order to help create a vintage look. The following photographs are an example of photos taken at previous events. We hope this provides a better explanation of the attire but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
