Saturday, August 15, 2015. When I was in elementary school in the 50s, every day my friends and I dreamed of that great day when our summer vacations would begin. The bus ride home from school on that last day was marked by singing and streamers out the window. It was a great day. So what did we do all summer? Thursday, May 14, 2015. This is the longest I've ever gone between blogs but now I'm back. We've been in Naples, FL for the past couple of weeks enjoying the very hot weather. While in Naples we hosted another couple and managed to stay very busy. One day we visited the Corkscrew Sanctuary. Another day we visited Naples Botanical Gardens. Other times we toured old Naples and on yet another evening we went to the beach for sunset. I'll post another piece with the next few days. Topic?

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We just returned from a one week trip to Dreams Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. With the exception of food poisoning for Sandi and me, it was a great trip. Traveling with our family is always fun. It is very often a new and exciting adventure for grand children. In this case Brooke and Courtney thoroughly enjoyed it.
