K Chrisbacher, Author. Here's a little ditty I wrote about a year ago. A COUNTRY BOY'S ODE TO DENIAL. Today Denial left you alone in my head. Without its cover, we are dead. It packed its bags and flew the coop. Now all that’s left is the cold, hard truth. Oh, come back to me, my beloved Denial. Without you there’s no use pretending…. That it’s not over, it’s not ending. My love for Denial was the only thing going for you. Without its facade I’m left sad and blue. But without it, you’re just baggage.
