I figured I was getting a copy in good condition, as the description (no photos were posted) said some of the decks were still sealed in plastic. Opening the shrinkwrapped card decks, it became really clear what had happened. Someone had bought the Advanced Civ expansion, not even unwrapping all the parts, and put everything into the original Civ box.
