Hawk Mountain Shelter

Point to Point on the Appalachian Trail. 76 miles from Springer Mountain. Water 300 yards down blue blaze trail behind shelter. Privy, Picnic table, fire ring. Bears in the area, use the bear cables! Military personnel often raid this shelter for training so dont be surprised if you see soldiers armed with heavy guns lurking in the woods around here.
