Monday, August 10, 2009. We Serve an On-Time God! What a wonderful weekend of worship! Not only is the school new and in the same county she was already in, but it is in walking distance from their home. I don't think God could've been any more generous! This is all due to God's perfect timing and love for us. We give God the glory! As our Choir sang "Thou Oh Lord" yesterday I could hardly contain myself. Thou Oh Lord are a shield for me. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. First Day of Kindergarten! Our first born SK started Kindergarten today! I can't believe it! I still remember the day she was born and can't believe it has almost been six years! Back to Kindergarten.She had a great day and was smiling and talking to a friend when we left her classroom. E and I stopped in ONE thrift store this weekend (and no yard or estate sales) and I only found 2 household goodies but I call them my lucky finds! Aren't we all on the never ending quest to find the gold at the end of the rainbow! Beautiful lightweight wooden hand-painted tole tray from the 60's. Fabulous cooper vase. Turkish? Shop Gypsy Anne's Junk. Junior League of Anniston-Calhoun. Botanical Gardens and Bonsai Exhibit. One Sunday afternoon we ventured over to Birmingham and found a Bonsai exhibit happening at the Botanical Gardens. It was fun to walk through the gardens and then tour the Bonsai exhibit. Who knew that these plants could be trained and a club kept up with how many years it was in training and how many years old it was. Some of them were even older than Mom and Daddy! I loved the stripped wood. Very neat!
