http://www.georgiagreenstamper.com/page9/page9.html
Her story haunts me. I think about it when I become careless and take happiness for granted. I think about it when I ponder the randomness of tragic news events. And I wonder if this why my family, too, cannot forget Calla Lily. Have they repeated her story for more than a century searching for meaning where there appears to be none? Have the Hudsons turned Calla Lily into myth to nudge her toward Fate? Fate, I try to tell myself, is a place I might better understand than pointlessness. On Saturday after...

Back in Whack: Preconceptions
http://backinwhack.blogspot.com/2010/08/preconceptions.html
There's more to balance than not falling over. Friday, August 13, 2010. These little guys devoured my fennel plant down to a nub. Truth be told, I bought the fennel accidentally – I was in a fluster and grabbed it thinking it was dill. When I got it home and realized my mistake I wondered what I would even use the fennel for.
