Tuesday, September 13, 2011. As blessed as I am to see different parts of the country, this is one place I wouldn't mind skipping. Yes, it's a pretty state with lots of trees, rivers, and rolling hills. The people are nice and friendly.but everyone. Is a razor back fan. Now, coming from Texas, where football is king.I have no problems with fan spirit and support for your team. Now, call me biased, but I much rather prefer the less obnoxious and less-cultish 'WHOOP! Of a Texas Aggie. It's just classier.

Sunday, August 21, 2011. Life in the Northwest. I had the pretty cool opportunity to be in Portland this week for a tournament. I have never been to Oregon, but it is truly a beautiful state. It reminded me a lot of my visits to Seattle - mountains in the background, pretty green trees, and lots of interesting characters. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Rochester.Where do I begin? Awesome scenery (hills, greenery, Lake Ontario), nice people, and Wegman's - an AWESOME grocery store. Work has been busy as usual this week, but I was able to do some sight-seeing on Sunday after I flew in. I drove north about 20 minutes to Lake Ontario and sat near the beach. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of him.but here's one from Google! We also got to see Pat Day! He even came up and talked to us after we were done performing! Good thing I didn't.my morning consisted of calls every 30 minutes or so about how someone's flight was delayed (or canceled! That made for a slightly stressful morning! Everything FINALLY worked out though and people started arriving!
