Thursday, February 28, 2008. Pitt Panther Recruit: Dwight Miller. Dwight Miller, a 6'8" forward, will be joining the Panthers next year. He's currently playing basketball in Houston, Texas for St. Pius X. So where does he fit in with the University of Pittsburgh? The good news is Miller continues to progress every day and loves the game. Although when you're labled as having NBA potential by Hall of Fame finalist Hakeem Olajuwon, how could you not love the game? Was the one that came into the game with a...

Crashing the Boards: Jermaine Dixon
http://pittbasketball.blogspot.com/2008/06/jermaine-dixon.html
Sunday, June 22, 2008. According to a source close to the team Jermaine Dixon, a JUCO shooting guard recruit, may not be a member of the Panthers this year. Apparently the 6'3" 190 lb Dixon is struggling with some academic issues that may not be cleared up by the time he is to report to Pitt. Dixon, who won NJCAA Player of the Week honors in December, was brought in to compete for time at the shooting guard position following Ronald Ramon's graduation. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Crashing the Boards: Pitt Panther Target: Will Coleman
http://pittbasketball.blogspot.com/2008/06/pitt-panther-target-will-coleman.html
Friday, June 20, 2008. Pitt Panther Target: Will Coleman. There's been a few of Pitt's targets that have decided to go elsewhere, so who might be the next option? Well for big men it could be Will Coleman. He's currently playing Junior College basketball for Miami Dade College, also the home for Pitt recruit Darnell Dodson. Coleman was originally committed to Arkansas-Little Rock, but he ran into academic problems and had to go the JUCO route. Game Recaps of Miami-Dade. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
