Despite the torrential rain on the drive up levels were pretty low on Saturday. We got a few runs of the Tryweryn in and crossed our fingers for better levels on Sunday. Thursday, 30 January 2014. Monday, 12 August 2013. A new day on the Faravory. Rhod, thrilled while protecting an undercut in the gorge. Day 2 on the Faravory was quite different to day 1, with steeper and narrower rapids. At one point we reached a deep gorge which was difficult to inspect. We spent some time picking our way between the boulders beneath the towering rock walls.
