Random Ramblings and Pictures. Sunday, May 4, 2014. Caribbean Cruise-Part Day 1 / 2. That night we ate at a little boating club. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. Walked down to our muster area for mandatory emergency training. Then we went up top to take a few pictures of the port and land as we left the port. Random Ramblings and Pictures. Sunday, May 4, 2014. Day 3 - Labadee, Haiti. Labadee, Haiti is a private peninsula owned by the Cruise Company. The port of call was an extension of the cruise ship, so we didn't have to pay for any meals there. Anyway, we sailed into the port about 8:00 in the morning. The island seems to be a large, beautiful island. The local fishermen were just sailing out as we were sailing in. We went for a walk and found an old stone fort. Https:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Monday, June 1, 2015. When Robert and Lecia got married they moved into a little house that was beside a larger house. Frank and Ottie, my Grandparents, lived in the larger house. It certainly wasn't easy living that close to your in-laws especially where religion was concerned. This next picture has Dave and Karen in it after a fire, they were being firemen I guess. It shows the little house a bit closer. If Dave is that big I am not far away so we lived in a pretty small place for many years.

Sunday, March 15, 2015. I was away from home by this time. I really dont remember Grandma when she was this old. She sure didnt quit until she had to. July 12, 2015 at 7:59 PM. That is so true Karen. Aunt Florence told me one time that she had been so upset with her mom because she would go out in the yard sitting in a chair (wheel chair maybe) and she would have taken a big sharp knife out and would dig the weeds out of the lawn. Aunt Florence said she was afraid the lawn was not going to survive.
