White Wave Skate Festival! On July 23rd, the White Wave Skate Festival will be coming to Las Cruces, New Mexico! There will be a S-K-A-T-E competition, with a $750 prize for first place! There will also be a Best Trick Comp, a prize for "Best Retro Dressed", and an Indo Board Comp. Come out and show everyone what you've got! This is going to be a serious event! April 22, 2011. 4th Annual Skate Deck Art Show! This year, the El Paso Skatepark Association. Will hold the 4th Annual Skate Deck Art Show. Last year, the show was held at Black Market. This year, the show will be held at the Lowbrow Palace. The event will take place on May 12th from 6-10 PM. There is a $5 dollar cover, and there is a minimum bid of $20 dollars on all auction pieces. All proceeds will go to the maintenance and development of El Paso Area Skateparks. March 22, 2011. Rosco's Burger Inn: A Chuco Tradition. Taking a step into Rosco Burger is like taking a step back in time. These guys are so old school, they don't even have a credit card machine. The building itself is a rock structure that was probably built in the early 1900's. Even the staff is a fixture of the building; they have been there forever!
