Remain Seated Please: June 2014
http://chasingourstory.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Permaneced sentados por favor. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. I Quote "Daniel Tiger" All. The. Time. Life with a toddler is good times, you just have to know that right up front. I'm happy with him 90% of the time and the other 10% I'm wildly angry but at least it keeps things exciting! In May he also had his first Away From Home visit with his Grandma and Grandpa while we went to Disneyland for a few days. The trip was fun- because its Disneyland! Most exciting of all- the little bug is WALKING! I know this is...

Remain Seated Please: And suddenly he's not a baby anymore!

Permaneced sentados por favor. Monday, February 16, 2015. And suddenly he's not a baby anymore! My baby turned 2. He's most definitely a toddler now and I probably shouldn't refer to him as a baby but then.he's *my* Baby and we can all just deal with that fact. And this Little Bug is amazing. I decided to compose a list of all the things I love and adore about this crazy kid of mine in honor of his debut into Toddler-hood. What I Love and Adore About the Little Bug. Can you say 'box'? How he uses the sig...

Permaneced sentados por favor. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Vacuuming Was Not My Idea. My toddler spent months and months being terrified of the vacuum. I believe it was the noise more than anything but there it is. We would have to plan our vacuuming times carefully to make sure there were two adults at home- one who could keep the kid calm in another room with the door closed while the other vacuumed as fast as humanly possible. This was our normal. Kids are weird, but at least the room is clean. 2015 ...

Remain Seated Please: 10 Years
http://chasingourstory.blogspot.com/2014/08/10-years.html
Permaneced sentados por favor. Saturday, August 16, 2014. In 2004, I had the incredible opportunity of participating in the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. The 4 months I spent there were some of my favorite and have had a remarkable impact on my life thus far. I met many wonderful people- including 3 of my very best friends (i.e. The Disney Family, as they came to be known). When 2014 rolled around, it was hard to grasp that 10 years- a whole decade! Getting a teaching position. Season ticke...

Permaneced sentados por favor. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. A Season of Crazy. The worst six weeks of my life (up to this point). A bed bug. In our bed. GAH! And if you live in an apartment building like us, bed bugs tend to travel quickly from other people's units. Our exterminator was positive this was our case. Lucky us. (Stupid neighbors.). Anyway, in order to combat bed bugs we had to de-clutter our condo, pack up almost everything, wash and dry (on high heat) EVERYTHING fabric/linen in nature, and w...

Permaneced sentados por favor. Thursday, July 18, 2013. Oh what do you do in the Summertime? Our happy and oh-so-hot season is moving along at a rapid clip and I know Mr. C is going to be back in school before we know it. Lame. But necessary! As such, we have been trying mightily to have some good family time while we've got a bit more freedom in scheduling. I'm sorry that I've been behind on the Blog reports- we've just been having so much fun! Family photo op with the rhinos! Isn't our baby delicious?

Permaneced sentados por favor. Monday, April 21, 2014. What You Need to Know. What do you need to know about the C family's happenings the last few months? Let's break it down. Baby C is really no longer a Baby. He's a big 14 month old boy now, emphasis on BIG. He's topped 26 lbs. and I think he needs to learn to walk soon because hauling that big ol' kid around is killin' me! Mr C's semester has been A BEAST (one reason you might not have heard from us for a while). Yes Yes indeed.). Me and Mr C have jo...

Remain Seated Please: May 2013
http://chasingourstory.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Permaneced sentados por favor. Friday, May 31, 2013. Baby is currently sleeping. He's been at it for over two hours now and his mom couldn't be more thrilled. You see, we've been in "sleep training" mode for the past week or so and we're actually seeing some fantastic results. This is natural since our son is obviously brilliant and learns fast, but its also a huge relief since our son is also hypersensitive (i.e. wildly unpredictable). By Dr Marc Weissbluth. It is.genius.
