I have been amazed and disappointed with the physical activity level of our youth. Our nation is continuing to head down the path of obesity and something needs to change. I believe this change must start with our youth. My student teaching at the middle school and high school levels has opened my eyes to some of the problems. A lot of our youth are lazy, unmotivated and seem to hate physical activity. It is my mission to find ways that will get our youth more involved in physical activity.
