June 7, 2014. On Thursday, I committed to running the Marine Corps Marathon in 2015. Since then, I have been slightly overwhelmed with creating a training plan and feeling sick to my stomach. I only plan to ever run one marathon, and this will be it. In a way, I’m glad I kind of got sucked into it now, so I can get it over with and move on with my mid-life. June 4, 2014. I need to be more tricky. Yesterday I had fast food for lunch for my cheat meal. It was an emotional craving. I SORELY regretted it. Whatever it was I ate (not sure, exactly, which item did the evil deed), made me feel nauseated and then switched to plain ole’ heartburn. I was burping up my small chili for like 4 hours. Not Worth. It. It takes me longer to get the cutting utensils out each and every time than to just go for the gusto while I’m there. Too much to lose. June 4, 2014 at 5:01 pm.
