Fasan Jäger , German for Pheasant Hunter. Is a friendly and inviting upland preserve located in the Saginaw Bay region, just south of Midland and just west of Freeland. In 2012, after a couple of years of raising pheasants and Chukars, Gary Shaffner decided to open a full-fledged upland hunting preserve within 80 acres of privately owned land with the help of his dad Curt. Whether you want to enjoy a cup of coffee, warm up a bit by the woodstove, or just spend some time recounting the stories of the day. Our Klub Haus is the place to be for all of our hunts we will provide coffee, hot chocolate and water before or after the hunt. You will always arrive and depart from our Klub Haus during your time at Fasan Jäger Upland Preserve. A reservation deposit is required. Deposits are $100.00 for a full day hunt and $50.00 for a half (1/2) day hunt. Prices: 5 Bird minimum per gun.

We offer 100% refund if you cancel 7 days prior to your scheduled hunt. If you cancel your hunt 6 3 days prior to your hunt you will receive 50% refund. No refunds if you cancel your hunt 2 days prior to your scheduled hunt. Fasan Jager Cancellation Policy. Fasan Jager may cancel or reschedule your hunt due to inclement weather.

Safety is the top priority at Fasan Jäger LLC Upland Game preserve. Upon arrival at the Fasan Jäger KlubHaus you will be required to read the safety guidelines, present a valid State of Michigan hunting license and sign a waiver prior to your hunt. No Alcohol prior to hunt / we reserve the right to cancel hunt if suspect to intoxication. Never shoot across another shooter. Don’t interfere with another hunter’s dog. Never put your gun off safety until game has flushed. All hunters will wear hunter orange.
