The Letkemans: June 2013
http://mcletkeman.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 10, 2013. Ten things I'm lovin' on this tenth of June:. Starting the month out with these 2. What a blast we had. So much laughing, playing, visiting, eating, baby-snuggling… It was a great family time. 2 Letting this boy be outside. The whole family really; when you live in Winnipeg, expanding outdoors is a treat every spring. And this year, with a slow in coming Spring, we are appreciating being outside more than ever! These flowers… and my whole yard this year. 9 Brothers and Sisters.

family ramblings: April 2011
http://cjsil.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. On this rainy, cold Saturday, it's hard to believe that only yesterday we were basking in the sun on a glorious spring day at the zoo, with some of our favourite people. I love how they are all such good friends and how even Anna was in on the action a lot of the time. Here's a little glimpse of our day:. Typical Sammy eyes in this one. Emeth, appropriately dressed for the day. That boy makes me laugh. Pacing leopard. Poor guy has such a small cage, it's just not right.

Worth It: October 2014

Friday, October 31, 2014. At 16, Chloe is pushing the trick-or-treat boundaries, but she forges on. She loves Halloween and dressed up three times in three different outfits. She dressed as a dalmation for a Cheer party, as an 80s grad for school today, and a bride with a masquerade mask tonight. Thank goodness she takes responsibility for assembling her own costumes. That would be my grad dress. I don't remember why I chose a dress that drew attention to my mid-section. Can't take his eyes off his candy.

Worth It: Home

Friday, August 07, 2015. Chloe was not nearly as happy to see us as we were to see her. She made some very good friends from all over Canada and after spending five solid weeks with them, it was hard to say goodbye. After we picked her up, she spent the first few days either texting her friends or moping/talking about them. Everything reminded her of her friends ("There's a Giant Tiger - my friends. And I went to Giant Tiger! Or "There's a playground … my friends. And I hung out at a playground!

The Letkemans: March 2014
http://mcletkeman.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 3, 2014. This winter has been incredibly cold and long. We haven't been able to be outside all that much, and I haven't wanted to. But we are hardy and we will survive and in fact we are surviving. We've done what it takes and Spring will be all the more sweeter when it comes. So what have we been up to? How have we survived? 1 - We got out. Carter and I took a Baby and Me AquaFit class. He LOVED the water! I'm looking forward to taking him to the pool at the lake this summer. We completed ...

A taste of riches | Today
https://kocbena.wordpress.com/2015/03/11/a-taste-of-riches
A taste of riches. March 11, 2015. My days alone are like little treasures. Especially the days that I have not booked anything, unsure if I’ll get a call to sub or not. When the sub call doesn’t come, I can’t say I’m too disappointed. Yesterday was one of those days. I actually did get asked to sub for the afternoon but even a morning of quiet is a beautiful thing. I kept snapping pictures because each turn seemed to reveal more beauty, another reminder of how much I have. At my feet. Majestic trees.

family ramblings: all in a day...
http://cjsil.blogspot.com/2011/09/all-in-day.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. All in a day. Moments, or are we able to have enjoyable moments without any tangible memory of it? In reality, I do love pictures, to see those moments pause for a bit, and to look back and remember and cherish. And I also love carefree, camera-less days where the only pictures are in my memory. Yesterday, however, was a camera day. So here we are, in a few photos, all in one day. A trek through the Assiniboine Forest.building a bed.and boys taking pictures of knees and.
