Libby and Daniel's Travel Blog. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Christmas Carols.en espańol. Last night we trolley-hopped down to the "old city" to see "Navidad en el Sucre", a free Christmas concert at the Teatro Nacional Sucre. An Andean flute looks like this. And produces a beautiful, soothing sound. We enjoyed listening to Spanish Christmas carols, including classics such as "Rudolfo el Reno de Nariz Roja" (who, in some versions, has a nose like a tomato). Links to this post. Libby and Daniel's Travel Blog. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Today Dan and I decided to get up and out of the city - and I am so glad we did. Here's what Wikipedia has to say about Pichincha: http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pichincha Volcano. At that point, we decided that the spot where we stood would be our 'summit' and we promptly turned around! Anyway, it was a fant...

Libby and Daniel's Travel Blog: June 2011
http://libbyanddaniel.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Libby and Daniel's Travel Blog. Sunday, June 5, 2011. Reflection: Quito, Two Years Later. This week I entered a photo competition coordinated by my friends Jenn and Gabrielle (through their organization The Spotlight Project). For which the theme was “Show us your neighbourhood’s personality”. Dan and I both submitted photos which you can see in the online gallery here. I have to wonder: to what extent do the places in which we live become a part of us? More importantly, perhaps, what do we leave behind?
