HIGH PLAINS CAMPING BLOG. 06/02/2011 at 1:54 pm. A few days ago we posted the about the U-Pick Organic Garden’s scarecrow, Sweet Pea, having a baby. We had a nice sampling of responses. This morning, much to our delight, we found Sweet Pea’s baby … errr, babies … That’s right. She didn’t have one. She had. Come and stay … enjoy our garden! You are commen...

Of course we welcome long-stays, but our area simply doesn’t have a large demand for long-stay camping. On that note, we compiled a few statistics regarding how far our guests travel. HIGH PLAINS CAMPING BLOG. Or is it merely until next we meet? 12/07/2011 at 7:35 pm. Is it farewell or is it merely until next we meet? We spent 2 years preparing for our mission and in 2002, we bought what you now recognize as High Plains Camping, near Oakley, Kansas. The titles are prestigious, but more importantly the roles provided amazing opportunities to serve people, not only my guests (the highest honor) b...
