Deep sky divers blogathon. Monday, September 12, 2005. THE ASHES CAME HOME. What a day to be a cricket nut. England forced a draw in the 5th test at The Oval to win the 5-match test series against the Aussies 2-1. That is the simple fact - but the truth of the matter goes way beyond the boundary of my skills of explanation. Thank God it's over. Normal service can be resumed. Posted by jon short at 10:14 PM. Deep sky divers blogathon. Wednesday, February 15, 2006. THE BREEZE ON BEACHY HEAD. Visited Beachy Head for the first time last weekend. I was with my mates Basil and Pete on tour down in the south of England. We had an afternoon to kill, so drove eastwards along the contours of the South Downs. Beachy Head is where the South Downs abruptly end in a 534ft wall of chalk. What a very civilised way to spend an afternoon. Posted by jon short at 11:55 AM. View my complete profile.
