A non-profit resource to help improve the quality of life for individuals living with a spinal cord injury. One of the biggest challenges a spinal cord injury brings with it is the need for accessible housing. The costs associated with modifying a living space to accommodate someone with paralysis can be staggering. Unfortunately, many individuals have no choice but to remain in nursing facilities, unable to garner the resources needed to convert a residence into an accessible environment.

If you would’ve asked me a few years ago, I would’ve told you that the ADA was significant because it granted people with disabilities great parking spaces. However, I’ve come to realize it’s done so much more. However, there is still much work that needs to be done. I am deeply honored to have been selected to give the keynote address. July 22, 2015.
