Laura's Weight Loss Journey. I began my weight loss journey on March 20th 2002 when I joined Weight Watchers. I have assembled some pictures that show my transformation. My goal is to inspire people on their own weight loss journey. I have Finally made my Weight Watchers Goal on January 4th 2005. I have lost a total of 119.6 lbs. I am still planning on losing 7-15 more pounds. After geting to my personal goal and maintaining for awhile I plan to look into being a leader at Weight Watchers.

Laura's Weight Loss Journey. 1 Portion Control. The best way to make sure you have the correct portion is by measuring but sometimes that is not possible so here is some other ways. Use your hand to Estimate. Fist = 1 cup or 1 medium whole fruit. Thumb(tip to base) = 1 ounce of meat or cheese. Thumb tip(tip to 1st joint) = 1 tablespoon. Fingertip(tip to 1st joint) = 1 teaspoon. Index finger(1st to 2nd joint) = 1 inch. Cupped hand = 1-2 ounces of nuts or pretzels. Use the Plate method. 7 Take your Vitamins.
