Except that once a baby is thrown in the mix there isn’t really a benchmark for normal, what seemed trivial to my husband might seem like a huge issue to me and vice versa, and what seemed like a massive issue for us both was passed off by others as ‘normal’. A beginners insight into mummyhood. March 27, 2016. In the group of mummies I socialise/regain sanity with, some have already had to go back to w$! Their partner has to work overtime to make sure the bills are paid – but they get to spend that extra time with their little ones watching them grow. Most of them do some sort of work from home to bring in extra income – I don’t know how they find the time when negotiating two little rascals at a time! It’s all change. Kaylie on Having the choice.
