Saturday, November 27, 2010. This is my attempt at recording the experience of Ghana - my first trip - July 8 - 21, 2010. After months and months of planning, shopping and crafting we were finally ready to pack! There were 4 of us traveling to Ghana and we were allowed 2 checked bags each so we had a total of 8 tubs or 400 lbs. of cargo space/weight we could carry. Sometimes as a homeschooling parent, I find that my children have learned lessons that I didn't even think had gotten through. Well, the other day, " Ladybug. Very excitedly told me she watered her garden. Well, she dragged me up to my room and pointed to my bed. "Look, Mommy! I even watered the seed! And she had indeed "watered" the acorn. Three times from what she told me. At least she learned her gardening lesson.
