Saturday, December 29, 2012. Twenty Twelve Christmas Card Album. This year I collected all the Christmas cards we received (including the ones Lily got from her school friends), and I stuck them to the wall near our Christmas Tree. This isn't all the cards, but silly me forgot to take a photo of. Before we took them down! Once we took them down, I knew that I wanted to something with them (other than just shoving them in a box! I used the same paper on the front and back cover. Close up of the title:.

Papercrafting with Kelly Janes. August 20, 2016. I have a fun boy themed layout for you today for The Cut Shoppe. For my layout today I started by cutting the POW portion from the Hero Up Cut File. On a scrap piece of pattern paper to use as a mask. I then sprayed Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine onto the white cardstock. After the Color Shine was dry I added hand stitching using black embroidery floss to let the starburst and letters pop! Here you can really see the shine from the Color Shine! For all of th...

Sunday, February 24, 2013. A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013. Not the best photo, but it's hard to get a photo of two kids, who just want to play! But, I love what this photo symbolises.these two play so well together, and Lily really does look out for him, when the big kids come she can often be heard telling them "be careful of my little brother". Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Project Life 2013 - Week Seven. This was a HUGE week in our house, as Lily started Year One. Most Western Australian children started back on Monday February 4, 2013, but because Lily was on holidays overseas at the time, she didn't start until the following Monday. It was also a week of getting back into routine (like me having to get up early in the mornings too! Benji started back with his activities, and I had a huge week and weekend. The Cut Shoppe: Birthday Time
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015/08/birthday-time.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hey everyone, Amy. Here to share a layout I created of my daughter celebrating her 14th birthday. Of course, I had to use the It's My Party cut file. And the August kit from Paper Camellia to create my page. I couldn't resist that cute circle die cut Ashley created and I colored it with just a bit of mist. For the "happy" banner, I did some smooshing with mists and watercolors to get a subtle effect to match the colors on my background paper. Thanks for visiting the blog today!

The Cut Shoppe: Back to School!
http://thecutshoppe.blogspot.com/2015/08/back-to-school.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. So here is my layout! I used the star circle from the Scribble Scrabbles. Set for my photo frames. The other elements are from the School Rules. Set Isn't that pencil just adorable? I had to use that and of course, had to paint it like a pencil! I'm a sucker for school supplies! On the Back to School and 2015-2016 cutout, I created an offset cut to use behind the cut outs so they stand out a little better. With that striped paper, it helped ground those cuts a little better.
