Loving the mix of blues within this board. I thought it was going to be a challenge for me to not use Pink, but I think I managed pretty well. I've stayed true to my style, and had lots of fun in the process. Bathing Beauty is made up of something old, something new, something borrowed and so much blue! I went straight to my D-lish.

Gettin her craft on. Monday, August 3, 2015. Im back today with a second layout inspired by this months Inspiration Board. These colours are definitely my favourites to scrap with. I started the background using a stencil from my stash, some texture paste and Teal Color Shine. I left it to dry, then added some soft pink hearts with a Scrap FX stencil. Next, Ive opened up a Bitty bag. To use behind the photo, and layered both on top of some Pink hand dyed muslin. And 2 paper flowers. Vol 18 No 11.

And the August kit from Paper Camellia to create my page. I couldn't resist that cute circle die cut Ashley created and I colored it with just a bit of mist. For the "happy" banner, I did some smooshing with mists and watercolors to get a subtle effect to match the colors on my background paper. Thanks for visiting the blog today!

Saturday, August 15, 2015. So here is my layout! I used the star circle from the Scribble Scrabbles. Set for my photo frames. The other elements are from the School Rules. Set Isn't that pencil just adorable? I had to use that and of course, had to paint it like a pencil! I'm a sucker for school supplies! On the Back to School and 2015-2016 cutout, I created an offset cut to use behind the cut outs so they stand out a little better. With that striped paper, it helped ground those cuts a little better.
