Jet Set, Jet Lag, But Definitely Not Jaded. Overshooting home on my way home. The trip to Hawaii wrapped up very nicely last week with a few relaxed days on some beaches, an excellent birthday dinner with a spectacular sunset view and an unexpected hula show (thanks to a wedding reception taking place right below our table), and a final day road trip around the last remaining bit of coastline we hadn’t seen. Along the road are many places to stop to see waterfalls, beaches, striped eucalyptus trees, fruit stands, banana bread stands, plate lunch stands, waterfalls, beaches…. Tuesday we slept in a bit, went for a run along the beach, spent an overcast day at the beach and that’s all there is to write about Tuesday November 8th. Literally nothing else happened. Allison’s birthday is this coming week and she decided, on my suggestion, that she wanted to experience said birthday in Hawaii.
