August 3, 2014. Sitting in Café Canggu, I decided this lunch I would not play with my phone but instead I picked up the Lombok Guide (Lombok’s local newspaper aimed at expatriates). The very next day I found myself on a thirty dollar flight from Denpasar to Lombok Praya, my eventual destination being Kuta on the south coast.
