The High School eLearning Report. Probably the most telling part of the current battle between the Ministry of Education in Ontario and private schools who offer Ontario credits through elearning is that the Ministry has been putting a lot of work into their own elearning site, www.elearningontario.ca. The site very clearly is designed to not only replace the private schools offering these courses online, but to go directly after the public boards who have developed their own virtual high schools.

However, it was a very different view than what I have come to know about the online systems here in Ontario.
