GFCFetcF Kitchen Chemistry: Meatballs

http://gfcfetcfkitchenchemistry.blogspot.com/2008/09/meatballs.html

Friday, September 12, 2008. I use a 1 to 1 blend of organic ground beef and organic ground turkey. You can adjust, or use different ground meats to your preference. For a while, I was using ground buffalo instead of ground beef. 1 package ground beef. 1 package ground turkey. 3 tbs ketchup (I use my own ketchup). Blend beef, turkey, salt, pepper, ketchup well in a food processor. Roll into balls. I use both the regular and the low sodium one - depends on how well stocked the store is). If you landed here...

GFCFetcF Kitchen Chemistry: Ketchup....

http://gfcfetcfkitchenchemistry.blogspot.com/2008/09/ketchup.html

Friday, September 12, 2008. Especially Potatey LOVES ketchup. and any gluten free, soy free, dairy free etc free store bought ketchup I would bring into the house would inevitable become the PRIME staple of what he would eat. EVERYTHING would get doused in ketchup. And I have no idea why (maybe the sweeteners? Maybe some traces of corn? So I started making my own. And lo and behold, Potatey still likes his ketchup, but it is now truly a condiment/side -dish, NOT the main course. Voila, ketchup is ready&#...

GFCFetcF Kitchen Chemistry: Meatballs - Version Two

http://gfcfetcfkitchenchemistry.blogspot.com/2009/03/meatballs-version-two.html

Monday, March 16, 2009. Meatballs - Version Two. Tweaked my original meatball recipe. For a friend who has to be tomato-free for a while. Here goes:. 1 lb ground beef. 1 lb ground turkey. Sufficient Pacific Natural Foods Free Range Chicken Broth to 'bind' the ground meats together. Blend beef, turkey, salt, pepper, paprika and Chicken Broth well in a food processor. Roll into balls (size is entirely up to you). Let cool, store in a Pyrex dish in refrigerator. They easily keep for a week. Limited Eggs (we...

GFCF Family: The Year of Living Naturally

GF CF Family

I've seen so many people who want to try to implement a gluten free, casein free diet for their children with autism. They have a few things in common: no idea how to start, no idea how to substitute ingredients, and too much information to wade through. It is completely overwhelming. The thought of changing your child's diet in such a drastic way might make you feel helpless. And a lot of it. No Not cured. Not at all. But this diet is the single best intervention we have done for him so far....This is n...
