The reason i didn’t use them for this assignment is because they originated in London first, and then came to the U.S. However, a more up to date band in the U.S. would definitely be more culturally relevant. When being assigned this blog I was instantly intrigued but then a little nervous. You might ask why would I be nervous about tracking my media usage? The only real surprise to me was that I pictured myself using media a lot more than I thought. I still think an average of almost 7 hours of media during a 17 hour day is a decent amount. Collage that was created in class. Patterns: food, sports, red, blue, clothing. February 16, 2014 at 2:06 pm. One pattern I see in this collage is warmth, because of all the “warm” colors that stand out. Another pattern I see is athletics. He first appeared in television ads, sings and billboards, and print ads. A more culturally relative icon to use in place of an icon. For the United States could be George Washington.
