Hearing the cuckoos cry / I long for Kyoto (Basho). I hesitate to even post this. Aug 11th, 2015 at 12:47 PM. I made it to London. No sign of my bicycle. Lost luggage paperwork filed. Thinking I will skip the Brussels leg. Very tired and dirty and hungry, but I will officially check in at the hostel at 2. Ugh. This is worse than Sunday. Aug 11th, 2015 01:36 pm (UTC). Relieving ourselves of a thing a day, every day. Actually out the door. Coming back from behind. Egg boxes and yoghurt pots. Keeping things for later. Less out than in. More in than out. Nearly out but not quite. One in one out. One step forward two steps back. The contents of my brain. The cupboard under the stairs. The great declutter of aught nine. The great decluttering of aught nine. The really really hard stuff. Things im not counting. Things you have to buy. Let's get rid of stuff! Sep 21st, 2009.

Bring me your poor, your tired, your snowclones. The journey of the rowanspun dk. Nov 18th, 2011 at 1:46 PM. Some time in 2007,. Sent me a bundle of Rowanspun DK after she'd found it wasn't working into a sweater she liked. I was a pretty novice knitter at that point- stashless, even! So I didn't know what I was going to make it into. I was sure it wouldn't be enough for a full sweater for me, so I started whittling away at it with smaller projects. First was my Modified Knotty Hat. So that the decreases...

Hearing the cuckoos cry / I long for Kyoto (Basho). August 7th, 2015. Success has many fathers; failure is an orphan". Aug 7th, 2015 at 9:58 AM. A recent issue of American Randonneur. Had an article written by a long-time randonneur about various occasions when he did not finish brevets. He included the above quotation, unattributed, and it stuck because it resonated with how I felt after the previous PBP, especially when listening to the stories of those who did succeed ( this. Can it be, logistics accomplished? - Even in Kyoto
http://rebeccmeister.livejournal.com/1022499.html
Hearing the cuckoos cry / I long for Kyoto (Basho). Can it be, logistics accomplished? Aug 4th, 2015 at 9:07 PM. I think I may have completed the travel logistics for this trip. If so, PHEW. If not, well, I still have a few more days to work out remaining kinks, at least. My itinerary looks something like this:. Lincoln - Chicago (train). Chicago - Dublin (airplane; too-short layover). Dublin - London Gatwick (airplane) - London for two sleeps. London - Brussels (train) - for two sleeps. Soa little hecti...

Vintage pattern icons - Alarming darling. They liked to wear pale clothes, particularly white. In this swarm of cigarettes and dark sophistication they appeared here and there like figures from an allegory, or long-dead celebrants from some forgotten garden party. 13 February 2007 @ 12:35 pm. I was telling sallysimpleton on gchat yesterday that I feel like… - Anime Superhero
http://motomotoyama.livejournal.com/485407.html
Jan 10th, 2012. On gchat yesterday that I feel like I'm finally starting to come back online. Right now it's little things like being able to read books like I used to. For the last half of 2011, it was rare that I read more than our monthly book club selections, and there was even one month when I couldn't even finish that. I think that re-reading The Hunger Games. Trilogy starting on New Year's Day may have broken me out of that rut, and I've gone on to finish Blackout. 4 comments Leave a comment.
